    Default New with Sugar

Hello all I'm brand new to Sugar CRM but I think Sugar will provide my company with the best solution for our in bound call center. I need to know if one thing is possible though.. We have a huge database filled with customer information and I want my callcenter reps to be able to search for customers via, SSN, Phone, Name or Account number. Is this possible in Sugar 6.0 Community Edition. If it is please point me in the right direction to where I can find documentation on how to set that up. Thank you in advance.

You would simply need to create custom fields to accommodate that data (or repurpose existing fields) and then add them to the search window. You should be aware that sugar doesn't have a way of masking values or encrypting data, so the SSN may be a problem.

The admin guide should help you along: http://www.sugarforge.org/frs/downlo..._Guide_5.2.pdf
