New to Sugar: How do we...

Our company is new to Sugar CRM. We are hoping that Sugar is going to be a strong asset to our business if we can get it to do what we want it to. Our community edition is currently up and running.

We would like to retrieve records specified for action Today, in the form of daily contact reports or lead reports, and, after completing today's action (calling or emailing or mailing today), be able to mark the records for retrieval/action on specific dates in the future.

Any advice as to how to do this or if it is possible would be appreciated.

Hello,

you have a few options with CE:

-you can set the dashlets on the homepage to display Tasks, calls, Leads etc that are due or created today, based on what you want to display. By default, the dashlets display 'only my items' for each user, but using the edit button, you can modify this setting as well as set different filters. -you can also used the Saved Search functionality within each module to perform ore advanced searches and save these searches for easy use in the future. For more information on Saved searches, you can click here

-you can install a free version of Zucker reports from the Sugar Forge and create more advanced reports which you can save
