New targets/leads already in Sugar?

This is a very general question that I could not find in the FAQ so I will dispense with most of the system details (I am running 5.2).

When new targets or leads are generated/added to the system is there a way to determine if they are already on our SugarCRM system as contacts, leads, targets?

A really excellent enhancement might be a report that shows all new targets (or leads) with a flag that indicates that the email address, phone number or some other token already exists on the system.

You can use the Find Duplicates in Leads/Contacts and Accounts ... not in Targets though.

And you can write a report that lists all the new Leads/Contacts by date created.
