new user cannot login

Hello, i'm trying to add a new user (there is no users yet only the admin), but after i add a new user it can't login the crm. error message showed: wrong password/username. tried to change the pass and the user but didnt help.

Is the new user set as active? remember to differ lower from upper cases.

I suppose you entered an employee rather than a user. Employees are entered in the top menu whereas users are entered in the admin section with username and password.

Are you perform any changes in your php or any other files? which version of sugarcrm do you used ?
