NEWBIE: Contact List showing 1 record instead of listing all contacts

Hi All

I have spent the better part of the afternoon going through all the posts related to the Contact List to no avail.
If this question has been asked and/or answered before, please could you point me in the right direction.

I am a complete NEWBIE and I was running Sugar in a test environment and the contact list and employee list actually had lists of people. Then the whole lot was moved over to a new server and my lists are gone.
All the data is there but I can only see 1 contact or 1 user instead of having the actual list of them.

PLEASE can someone tell me what the heck happened to the lists.

We are running 4.5.1 (not the newest I know but it works) and its the free version.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello,

try going to the admin --> System Settings and check the 'Listview items per page' (this should be the first field). Is this set to 1? If so, then this is your problem, simply increase the number (20-50 is usually good) and click save.
