Newbie Needs Help (2) !

Hello Forum,
Let me try and tell you all that i need in as briefly as possible.
we are new to SugarCRM as well as concept of CRM
We Deal in House Construction,
We Need a Page Where user can Specify a Custom Home,
Which will be done in a series of steps
1. Choose House Type ( Area / Plan <- these will be predefined )
2. Choose Furniture Options <- these will be inserted in database by our company people
3. Choose Various Accessories ( Kitchen Fittings / Bath Fittings ) <- these will be inserted in database by our company people
These things are to be done one at a time cust. will go to step 2 after finishing step 1
Finally user will get estimate for the project ( Cost / Duration )

First we were thinking of doing this entire thing in SugarCRM CE 6.0
but after struggling for a few days we found that it's difficult
So we decided that data we need from user can be collected from a separated site and then put in SugarCRM
but we are also finding it difficult

Can any one suggest us how we can resolve this problem
or this can not be done in SugarCRM .

Let me try to explain some basic thing about existing SugarCMR
1) This application can capture sales pipeline that strats from a Lead(prospect client )

what ever you have explained below is basically a process to identify a prospect client ( as i understood)

After this all process you will get one prospect that can buy something out of some collection he/she has made through your site . then your sales person will track that prospect to make the deal
exiting CRM deals with process after when your sales person has got that lead .

What you can do in CRM
1) store Lead information ( that can be directly fetched from your site into SugarCMR with little customization ) Into sugarcrm and keep track of whole sales cycle , Activities , Emails , automated notice , automated emails , roles etc

2) there is marketing process , you can send Email campaigns(mass emailing ) to you existing client and prospect

3) administration and many more

This is very easy in SugarCRM with little customization on website and in Sugar through SOAP API

Play with SugarCRM , go through Demo , this will greatly help to understand this wonderful tool
