Newbie needs help with creating modules

Hi everyone,

First I would like to introduce myslef. My name is Adam and I'm working for an IT company that provides service to small businesses around Chicago. We have just loaded SugarCRM onto our asterisk box and we want to make a few custom modules.

I downloaded and installed the module builder and templates. Now I went to create my first module and defined my tables and object name as well as the fields for basic and advanced search. Now I save the module and have no clue as to where to go from there. Ideally I want to make a Module that has all of our clients computer information(Workstation Name, IP, OS, Model, Domain, etc) and I want to tie this info into the contacts and accounts modules. If anyone on here can help me to get started, I would greatly appreciate it.
