I recently installed opensource sugarCRM and allowed the example data to be installed. How do I get rid of it now? Specifically employees. I can see how I edit them. But I don't see an option to delete.

There is no real delete function, especially for employees. Even when there is a delete function available, it is only a soft delete, i.e the record remains in the database and a delete flag is set.

Your best bet is to reinstall Sugar, either delete the config.php file or set the flag installer_locked in config.php to false
