Default Newsletter Campaign: Plus (+) sign not showing

    Hi,

I am encountering a problem with the newsletter campaign:
the + plus signs are not showing (it seems they are replaced with a space) in the email received by the target...
However, in Sugar, they are displayed properly in the email template.
I have tried with the setting "Compose email messages in this character set: " set to UTF-8 and ISO-8859-1; it made no difference...

Has anybody encountered that problem before?

    Configuration:
    Windows Server 2008 Standard edition
    SugarCRM CE 5.5.0a
    IIS 7.0
    PHP-5.2.11
    MS SQL Server 2005

I did not have the time to do more research since I entered the problem.
But nobody else had this problem before?

Thumbs up Re: Newsletter Campaign: Plus (+) sign not showing

just got it. use the ASCII HEX conversion not the HTML# representation

you can use the %2B to replace the PLUS sign. It will appear as %2B on your Sugar Template but once it sends out, it will display as a PLUS sign.

Smile Re: Newsletter Campaign: Plus (+) sign not showing

    Hi jangjangjang,

I have been working on something different for a good while and I have not been checking this forum since.
We had found a workaround in the meantine (we used links to jpg files, making the report even nicer...)

But thanks anyway for your help. It may become usefull for a different campaign!
