Hi
We have tried POP, GMAIL and IMAP email accounts and everything appears to be set-up ok; plus we have the chron set-up, yet no inbound email.
?
We are using Community edition 6.0.1, has anyone experienced these issues?

Be sure that scheduler task for inbound emails is active.

How did you confirm that it was setup OK?
What happens when you click the Test Settings button?
Are you setting it up as a group inbound email account or for an individual user in the Emails module?

Sorry for the delay in reply.
When I click the Test Settings button I receive the test email and I know that outbound email works as the team here are sending emails out from lead records and they are being received. The issue is that when I try to send an email to the email address that is set-up in Sugar, it is successfully sent - but nothing arrives in Sugar
This is set-up as a group inbound email account (Group - Auto-Import).
When I click on the emails tab, I can see the group email folder (a folder with multiple figures on it) to the far left, but there are no subfolders such as inbox etc. Should there be?
OK, but having configured it to successfully send email doesn't necessarily translate to the system being properly configured to receive it. From your description of the problem, it sounds like something is not quite right about the login info or there is some other type of communications problem. Also, have you confirmed the IMAP module is enabled for your install of PHP? Also SSL if you are using an SSL encrypted connection for the email server.
