No List Vied Data with custom text area

I have community 5.5.3 and I am having a problem listview

I have created a custom field in leads named manager_suggestions_c

I am able to input data in edit view and I am able to see data in detail view. when I go to vied data in list view I only see the column but no data exists.

I created a custom text field in the same locations and I can view data in all three places.


can anyone offer up any suggestions.

I guess your listview have wrong query statement in the retrieveing for listview.
Also, I turst your input data have been stored in the DB if you never see error message on the Save action.

Probably ,your sql statement has join keyword that connecting the custom field table.
Removing this keyword or adding [outer] will fix it.

As I came to your other thread too, I guess you are trying to make a text area field to show up in dashlet! And, so as I tried and found the same issue.

Have a work around BUT not upgrade safe and not much adoptable, still if you really want the field to show up in dashlet,

try following code,

 $lvsParams['custom_select'] = ', NAME_OF_YOUR_FIELD'; 
  

inside, include/Dashlets/DashletGeneric.php
