No Response from Sugar on saving data

Hello Forum,

My Installation:
Version 5.2.0a (Build 5447)

I modified my Sugar CE on my development Server and everything wored fine. Now I transferred the System to the Cusotmers Server and the Problem now is:

If I try to save somme data (Contacts, or new User..), Sugar doesn't respond and I get the error message:
Retrieving record by id users:1 found Query Failed:SELECT users.* FROM users WHERE users.id = '1' AND users.deleted=0 LIMIT 0,1::MySQL error 2006: MySQL server has gone away

Can anybody HELP me please?

Usually this has to do with an incorrectly configured mysql server. Find your my.sql file and check out the max_allowed_packet line and whatever the value is add something to it. Mine is set to 12M. Then restart your server.

Thank you very much for your reply.
I contacted the hosting provider, and in the second when we where talking, the error disappeared. Maybe they have a automatic configuration script, wich defines Database Server Quotas or there was a cache problem. Anyway. Now it works. Hope this threat can help people who maybe have same issues.
