Not able to change the Sub-Panel Column header in SugarcrmCE6

Hi..

I am using SugarCRMCE 6 on ubuntu 8.1.

I wanted to customize to my requirement. I was not able to remove the columns from the sub panels Activities and History.

I was able to remove the data column from the subpanel by editing some file but it was impossible to remove "contact" from the header.

The changes were not at all reflecting which I made from Studio.

So please do help me how can i remove the columns from the Activities and also from the History Sub-panel.

Second thing is how can I make all the subpanels collapse by default when the page loads...

Hi ..

Hurray the problem is solved. I must thank datasponge for his valuable postings in the forum which made me solve my problem..

The files needed to edit to change the columns in History and Activities are

History Subpanel
<sugaroot>modules/call/metadata/subpanels/ForHistory.php

Remove the lines that describe the contact

do this for modules Meeting,Task,Email and Notes
Note - This is not upgrade Safe

But best method is to create a new subpanel as described by datasponge in the URL above.

Same procedure for the activities subpanel.

Hope this solves the problem...
