not receiving email

Hello all,
I have a personal email account set up on sugarcrm that monitors mailboxes perfectly. However I need to have it setup as a group mailbox in sugar so that it can auto-import email. When I create a group mailbox in admin->inbound email and create the folder just like it was a personal email folder, I dont have any email in it, nor do the inbox or the sent folders(which I added as folders I wanted to be watched) show up. Has anyone a fix for this? I have searched all day and havent seen anything yet.

I believe you created a group mail box with a group folder. After doing this set up you need to run the cron job. So go to Admin->Scheduler and search for Check Inbound Mailboxes. Click on that and see how frequently you want to run this job and then run the cron job and then it will work fine.

Thank you for getting back to me! I am still having problems, inside of inbound email I created an email account and also created a group folder in the lower area. I also had the scheduler running every 3 mins (just for testing) and the folder is empty and does not show any subfolders. Am I missing something?

You will not see any subfolders in the group folder unless you created a child group folder. Set the log level to debug and run the cron job through UI like http://<hostname>/cron.php and see if pollMonitoredInboxes in sugarcrm.log file. Eventually pollMonitoredInboxes functionof _AddJobsHere.php will get fired and you can see al the debug statements in log file.

Thank you so much for your help! But sadly I dont think it is working, of course I could be wrong. When an email comes in to a group folder it auto links the email to a contact if there is a contact that the email can be linked to is this correct or am I missing this by a longshot. I have it receiving to a personal folder fine but this group folder and needing it to auto link is really bugging me. Does anyone have any tips?
