Not sending emails -XAMPP & Sugar Open Source

Sugar doesn't seem to be sending emails on a winxp installation using XAMPP appache.

Sendmail is functional, tested, and working (in php even!) - apache error.log says:


"The system cannot find the path specified."

nothing shows up in sugarcrm.log

cURL is installed and functional.

Any ideas?

I should also mention that neither Sendmail nor smtp works

ALSO, the emails I "send" show up in the "sent items" folder.

They just never get to their destination. I've run a test of php mail function without problem.
