Notes and Leads Module Help

Hi,

I would like to be able to add or view a note from the edit view of a lead in Sugar. It is currently only possible to add a lead or a note through the detail view of the lead. I think it would be a very powerful tool for sales reps to be able to click through their leads in edit view and never have to leave this to add a quick note. If anyone can shed some light on this, that would be great. Thanks.

What you are asking for is possible and can be done but requires some effort. The idea with the notes as you describe is in sugar more or less the description field. We just developed an ehnacement there for a protocol field wher the user can not edit the field but just add ...

In the same manner it would be an easy task to add a note out of the edit view.
