Notes missing descriptions

While performing an upgrade from Sugar 4.2.0 through to 5.0.0a i discovered that once I've upgraded to 4.5.0 the Notes no longer have any description.

I managed to upgrade successfully from 4.2.0 to 4.2.1 with the descriptions still visible in the Notes. I have attempted all the repair options within Sugar but without any success.

Can anybody possible help me out with advice on how to get around this problem?

I don't know of a reason or problem that would cause that behavior, but have you looked at the actual database tables to confirm that indeed the data is no longer in the description field?

Do you have a backup from prior to them being wiped? If so, you should be able to restore that data fairly easily.

Hi and thanks for the response. I can confirm that the descriptions no longer appear in the database (notes-table) after upgrading from 4.2.1 to 4.5.0.

I have also noticed that when you open an account on Sugar, no subject is being displayed in the History area.

I do have a backup of the database (4.2.0) state from which I will run a cloned upgrade again to see what happens.
