notfication e-mails 5.0.0f

Hello,

I can´t get this going! I ´ve already make the configurations on the admin => email configuration -> notify on
also put all my data as SMTP as still got nothing. is there any log I can look at?

Just got it!
I was trying to send the e-mail from me to myself doesn´t work!
try to send it to another user and it worked just fine!

Ok. it worked, but i have some custom modules, when i try to send notifications by adding or changing the assined to i get an e-mail but with empty fields, where can i edit it?
