    Default Number of issues

I have recently setup Sugar and now when we're importing and adding all data such as contacts, emails and documents we've a number of problems.

    1. In the 'create contact', the field 'date created' keeps reset it self to 01/01/1970
    2. All the emails we've archived from outlook are now missing. It all worked fine for a while and then suddendly they are not archived any longer.
    3. When I click on contacts it only shows the last entry or the last name I've search under. When I try to delete the name and click contact again it still only show the last search result.

There's also a few other bits does not are all ok either. What can I do to get this resolved as we've spend quote a lot of time and moeny on getting this going?

    Cheers,
    S

OK, you need to give us some more info. What version are you running and what are the specs of the OS, and applications.

    1. That date is the default. Is the date/time set on your system correctly? How did you import? Did you put a filed in for date created? Not sure what the issue might be.

    2. Are you using Sugar Pro? How did you "archive" emails? What is meant by missing?

    3. Sounds like you are using the search wrong. If the last name put what you want to search on now and click the search button (or hit return). To get the whole list: Delete the previous entries from all the filed and press serach. Sugar remembers your last search

Only click the menu contacts for getting tot he module never for anything else.

If you want I can take a look and see if you have external access to your web server and can give me a log in. I am also available as are others for paid service. You can advertise if you need someone to help. I can provide a confidentiality agreement before accessing.

Hope this helps you on your way, Thanks Paris

Hi there, we're running version 5.1 sugar open source on vista and xp.

    1. Why I suspect that it's a glitch of some kind is because it's not a consistent error. Some of the entries that we've manually put into contact are ok, and if you don’t put any date in it seems to be fine as well but it’s when you use the calendar and save it its change back to 01/01/1970. I’ve checked the setting and its all ok.

    2. That’s exactly what we do. We delete the names and press return. Every time I logon to the system the last name that was entered into the system is shown in the search field even though it’s never been a search for it.

    3. All the emails that were achieved via outlook the other day are not visible any longer in sugar under each contact person. They were all there when we did it.

Would be great if you could have a lock at it. Do you have an email address?

I've also now got a problem with outlook 2007 (vista), when I try to archive it a pop up window pops up and says access denied and when I view the password in sugar options the password has changed to something else. Why I can see that is because its extreamly long and eventhough I retype it and save it it still reset itself to the long one.

All these things are a bit odd. I've tried from a couple of computers as well.
