Number of items in dropdown

Is there way to extend the number of items to the dropdown list. As it is now my dropdown only is able to save about 20 items.

I use CE 5.5.4

This limitation should not exist.
Do you see any warn or error message regarding such limitation?

Are you talking about Dropdown Editor on Admin screen?

In addition to Andre's comments, are you attempting to save values that contain an apostrophe (') or other characters that are not numbers or letters? If so, that's the likely source of your problem as older versions of Sugar had a problem saving such values to drop down lists.

I meant the dropdown editor. No error message appeared,but I could see an error appeared in the javascript of simplelist.js . But its gone now and I think you are right Angel, I avoided all special characters and it worked.
