I setup a new mailbox to be polled and setup cases when there was something in the mailbox. We use a Google Apps account on the domain, and when I first setup the new mailbox to be polled (using IMAP), everything went great. 2 cases were created from the default emails Google are nice enough to send you on signup. I then deleted those cases, and the polling was completing fine.
I then sent an email to the specified address, and the scheduler got stuck "in progress" checking the mailbox. If I delete the "offending" email, the next run an hour later completes as you would expect. As soon as I send an email to the account, it hangs "in progress" again.
Any clues on this? I have replicated the behaviour time and time again, but can't get the mailbox polled successfully when there is an email to process which is really frustrating.
