    Default Offline Client Help

I have installed the server version of Sugar Pro 4.2.1b and have installed 8 laptops with offline client access. Everything is working fine, but now I would like to change what server the offline clients point to for sync.

I also need to change the URL I am using for the server version. Example: http://sugarcrm.somename.com/test and I want to change this to http://sugarcrm.somename.com/.

Would I have to do a full install again on all of the clients?

I can not find an option anywhere that I can change this. Of course, I could be overlooking it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

pioneer, I moved your thread to Pro Help since Offline Client is available only in Sugar's commercial versions.

I'm afraid that you may have to re-install your PCs. BUT this is worth a try: go into the PC's config.php and you should see the IP of the connected server. I forget the name of the parameter used to designate the server IP; I hope it's intuitive!

But I have to say that I'm not confident this will work. During the OC conversion process the PC is tightly bound to the server. It may be that it's too tightly bound.

Release 4.5 makes the overall process simpler.

Andy, thank you for the advice, I have not had a chance to try this yet, but I will give it a shot. Also I am in talks with one of your sales people about getting access to the Pro forums.
