Old Data ??

I've tried many setups to get the old data to be recognized by the new version. Is there a utility file that will transfer data from the old databease to the new one?
I have compared the beta version schemas with the new release schemas an have found a few general differences. Is there any help you can give me to import the old data into the new database?

The fix to the bug you described has been posted as a patch and a full build on SourceForge.net (http://sourceforge.net/projects/sugarcrm/).

Also, we would be happy to work with you on upgrading any data from your beta release implementation to the 1.0 GA release. Please contact us support@sugarcrm.com.

I have reproduced the problem with the URLs. I have created a patch that will fix the account module to automatically clean out the preceeding http:// if one is present. As accounts are saved, they will slowly merge to the new format.

A future upgrade utility will clean all of the data.

The patch will be 1.0b and should be on SourceForge immediately.

Please let us know if you run into other issues or have other manual steps that must be repeated. I have also sent you my direct contact information if you need urgent help.

I have put the patch and full versions up on SourceForge for 1.0b.

I have also posted data migration scripts in case anybody else wants to update thier data.
