Onchange releted Field

Hi everyone!!!!!
I need the next:
In module opportunities i have a field related with accounts and i need that when the value change run a javascript custom code in its view.edit.php in custom directory.
I've tryed onchange directly but doesnt work...could someboy help me??

Why would it not work? The only typical problem is that the rleated field on the autocomplete writes directly to the field and that does not trigger an onChange event on the field. In all other cases this should be no issue and might only be a problem in your code.

Exactly, i need that onchange be detected when the autocompleted be done.
