HI,
I have set up:
Sugar 4.5.1RC
server: bluehost.com
mail transfer agent: sendmail
number of emails per batch: 500 (default)
I have set up test email campaigns with <20 recipients and they always worked flawlessly. I then set up a target list with 866 contacts and sent out an email campaign it it along with my smaller test target that had about 12 contacts (my email address was one of the 12 contacts sent to). I sent the campaign yesterday afternoon and immediately started getting bounce backs and more and more contacts that were listed to have viewed the email.
However after about an hour or so the number of bounced emails and viewed emails stopped growing. From my best estimation it looks like maybe only the first 40 or so got sent out. (I never received it)
So my questions for anyone that can help me:
1. Is there some log file or something I can look at to see if sendmail got bogged down and gave up?
2. Is there some where I can determine how many emails actually made it out? (my outbound queue is empty)
3. Is the problem that I need to lower the number of emails per batch?
4. How can you determine the health or status of sendmail?
5. How do I fix this??????
Thanks to anyone that can help...I LOVE Sugar, but I really need to figure out how to fix this!
Trevor.
