Open file with button

I have created a custom module and i want insert a button that when i click it, open a pdf file.
Can you help me??

In the metadata for the layouts, you can add a button. See http://www.sugarcrm.com/wiki/index.p...ller_%28MVC%29 or the developer guide.

Then you can use it to call a function you create to generate a PDF
