Oppertunity and Profit

Im not sure if this has been asked before but it seems like a feature most people would like.

Generally when a sales guy registers an opportunity and puts the amount as say 10k there is no option to set what portion of this is GP. it makes it hard to track the actual expected profit of the total leads.

currently sales log the profit margin in the notes making it hard to see at a glance.

Have i missed something simple or is there a module i can add to do this?

Hello Mordzy,

why don't you create a new currency field that you place on the opportunities edit and detail views? Then you can view both estimate gross amount and estimated profit on the same screen
