    Default Opportunity History

    Hi,

    I've just converted a lead to an opportunity. I had been archiving emails associated with the lead, but they don't appear under the opportuntiy history. Given that I'm still conversing using the same thread, it'd be nice to see the history with the opportunity as well. Am I just missing something or is there really no way to keep track of both histories?

    You have to assign the emails to Account or Opportunity or many of the options when replying to or composing a new email. The top right area on the email you can select the type (opportunity). Then select the opportunity to which the email is associated. Or while in the Opportunity page you can compose a new email that with fill in the info for you so that it show up in your opportunity history.

    Thanks for the reply. Just to be clear, there's no way to transition this automatically? If so, I guess I'll be filing a feature request :-/
