Opportunity names not linked

I recently added a new field in the opportunities/detail and opportunities/list view and it works fine. In the process of doing this I moved some other fields around in the opportunities/list view. I got it all back to the way I wanted it but now the opportunity name isn't hyperlinked to anything. The account name still is. I had our hosting company load a fresh version of sugar so I could compare it. I check the display HTML box and I can see what is missing I just don't know how to fix it. I tried to break the new one by moving the fields to the staging area then saving layout and the field is in the sugar.bin directory. I then put it back where it belongs and it works fine? for some reason I can't find that same field in my broke one.
