Opportunity Role Issue

Using V5.2

In Contact List view/Mass Update there is an option to nominate an Opportunity Role to one or more contacts. Only I must have fried my eyeballs because in the Contacts module I can't find this field anywhere do I need new glasses?

Hello,

the contact-opportunity role is a relational field that is not in the Contacts or Opportunities modules (you are not blind!). You can set this field manually:

-Go to the Detail view of an opportunity
-Scroll down to the Contacts subpanel. If there is a contact linked to the opportunity, you will see a little pencil edit icon on the right hand side. Click on this, and you will be brought to a new screen which displays the Contact name, Opportunity name, and Role.

great i saw it before but i did not know how to change it in opportunities. New things learned after 3 years working with Sugar
