I've sent out several email campaigns and have found that if a Contact is checked as Opt Out, they still receive future email campaigns. I can look at the Contact, see the word Opt Out and a line through their email, but when I create a target list and select this contact, an email for them shows in the Outgoing Email Queue. I've found I have to manually maintain users that have opted out, then search for their emails and delete them from the outgoing queue before I send the emails. This defeats the purpose of maintaining opt out in Sugar.

My understanding is that if a user opts out from an email campaign, any future email campaigns won't be sent to them. If someone opts out of a newsletter their opt out is only for that specific newsletter, future newsletters will still be sent. Is this correct?

Am I doing something wrong?
