I have not been able to find a combination of outgoing e-mail settings that allows me to send an email from the personal email panel. I have, however, been able to reply to emails that are in my inbox. There is no indication of an error in the sugarcrm.log file.
My ISP (siteground) provides the following information regarding the email account:
- POP3/IMAP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com or Host: mail.yourdomain.com
- Username: you@yourdomain.com
- SMTP authentication must enabled for login / secure authentication is discouraged
- Ports: POP3-110; IMAP-143; SMTP-25 or 2525
My test server is running locally on a Pentium Duo Quad Core with the Window XP Professional OS running XAMP Apache server package 1.6.8 with PHP 5.2.6, Apache 2.2.9 and MySQL 5.0.67.
Any suggestions from the community on how to debug this situation is appreciated.

The apache error log shows an error message without a time tag, path name or referrer context each time I try to send an email message using a setup pointd to my SMTP server account. The message reads:
The system cannot find the path specified.
I used all of the default installation settings for this test install. The installation is hung directly under htdocc. I did, however rename the directory from Sugar.... to crm.
