I have created an email in which I embedded (copy/paste) a screen shot. Depending on the format of the email, the email message does not get copied over to Sugar.
For example, if I set the format of the message as "HTML" (new email message - Options->HTML), the email is successfully copied to Sugar and I can find/see the screen shot as an attachment to the email message. The screen shot is titled image001.png.
But, if I set the format of the message as "Rich Text", the email is NOT copied to Sugar. And in the Sugar plug-in log file, I get the following message:
2010-04-14 09:43:47,187 [VSTA_Main] ERROR SugarOutlook.Soap.SoapAPI [(null)] - SaveEmail: Error calling Web service.
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0xFDD04005): Outlook cannot do this action on this type of attachment.
at Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook.Attachment.get_Fi leName()
at SugarOutlook.Soap.SoapAPI.SaveEmail(MailItem mailItem, String message, contact_detail[] detail, contact_detail assocDetail, String txtSubject, Boolean bodyModified)
Is this an issue with the Outlook Plug-in? Or Sugar? Or do I have to make sure I always use HTML?
I am using Sugar Professional Version 5.2.0k (Build 5837) and Sugar Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook version 5.5.0.
Thanks
