    Default patch instead of upgrdae for bug fixes?

    hi,

    I am using sugar community version 5.2.0c .It has got a bug regarding importing campaign field in the contacts which is been fixed in 5.2.0f.

    I can upgrade to 5.2.0f to fix that issue but i wonder if there is a simple solution like applying patch instead.


    any helkp is appriciated.

    Yes, but it probably requires some programming skills.

    The patch is the files modules/Contacts/vardefs.php and modules/Campaigns/vardefs.php at 5.2.0f patch upgrade.
