Default PEBKAC error! Need help with Stack Install

I am sure this is a PEBKAC error (Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair). However I have been away from Linux for a while. I have a brand new install of Red Hat Fedora 12.0, patched and ready to go. I downloaded the CE 5.5.0 Sugar binary to my home directory. I changed all the permissions to rwx and "I CANNOT RUN THE STACK INSTALLER". All I get from the shell is "Command not found". I have tried browsing to the object ion GNOME and double clicking. I have run it directly from the terminal with my home directory being the Current Working Directory. No Joy. Any help would be appreciated. No Joy on Christmas eve, does not fill one with cheer.

I suspect that I have a context problem, but I am sure someone out there can set me straight! Thanks in advance and Happy Holiday!
