Performance in dashlet

Hi all,
In sugarCRM5.1.0.b the dashlet is displayed on the front page but is loaded using AJAX and since the dataset loaded into this sugar installation is the performance testing dataset it is rather large and the dashlet will not display until after around 1 minute.

Part of the problem is the rendering in the flash but the generation of the xml file on the server is taking 45 seconds or more. I want to reduce that timing. How i can reduce the timing & increase the performance.

Would need alot more info about your setup. Are you running a PHP cache, that would be my first suggestion.
