Permission denied errors on IIS 6

OS: win2003SP1
sugar: 4.2.1a
webserver: IIS 6
PHP: 4.4.2
mysql: 4.1.20

i've installed sugar 2 times already on this box(clean install of the OS between) following the instructions of the 4.0.0 install sticky.

the problem is that i get all kind of acess denied errors and setting aren't saved, this i solved by setting the ENTIRE sugarcrm directory to read/write/exec on the IUSR_ user, following the sugar install PDF for cache/modules/config doesn't work.

With this i solved most of the problems, the thing is that i can't upload any modules, when i try to upload i get:

Warning: unlink(c:\inetpub\wwwroot\sugar/cache/upload//upgrades/temp\27.tmp): Permission denied in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\sugar\include\utils\file_utils. php on line 66
Specified directory '' for zip file 'c:\inetpub\wwwroot\sugar/cache/upload/SugarOpen-4.2.1-lang-sp_ve.zip' extraction does not exist.

The ZIP file is indeed copied to the upload subdir of sugar, but it stalls at that.

any help regarding these two issues?(i don't want to keep the anonymous user with full R/W permissions on the whole installation)

anyone?, i've rechecked the idiot's guide and followed it to the letter and still nothing, can't upload anything and the mentiones permissions are flawed
