    Exclamation Permission issues with Accounts and View Summary

    I have restricted access to some CRM users to only see the basic information of accounts assigned to them. (No access to notes, calls, etc... and for them to only see Own accounts)

    The issue that i am having is the following. When those users open the account they can see the titles of notes calls etc in the history part. And they truly can not click on the notes and access them (You do not have access to ....)

    BUT

    They can just simply click on the View Summary and read all the contents.. :-(

    Any help?

    Hi!

    The one of the solutions is to hide 'ViewSummary' button. What do you think?

    I thought about that, but it is not the desired solution... I still have a different team that I need to have access to the view summary...

    To clarify, two of the mentioned groups are some resellers ( the people that only need access to their tasks but don't need to have access to the notes, completed calls, etc) and customer support folks who are working with all the info).

    I have thought about trying to restrict it by users, but i haven't come up with any useful way to do it. i have a user name convention that would allow me to do such a thing (cs_xxx -> Customer Support, rs_xxx -> resellers) but i didn't see a way to implement it (initial idea was to try to restrict it the way the admin link is restricted with the 'is_admin' function but :-S)

    Any other thoughts?
