Default Permissions of a new module

    Hi,
I have built my first module using the module builder which is great but I cannot figure out how to set the permissions. At the moment all users are blocked from using it. permissions to all normal modules can be set in the user settings area but the new module simply doesnt appear in the permissions matrix. I am sure it has been deployed fine as the admin user can use it.

    Any help much appreciated

    Harry

    Hi.
Create a new user and give him Admin permissions.
Can he use that custom module?
If yes is your answer, verify other users permissions.
What do you think the cookie monster eats ?

Hi, admin users can use the module fine. the trouble is a normal user cannot and as far as i can see there is no way to set it up so it can? When setting up a new role there is not an option to set up permissions for the new module like there is all other modules it is simply not listed in the modules permissions table.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. someone must have made a working module with module builder?
    Thanks

Can normal users see the custom module tab and access the module?

    Hi,
yeah you can see the tab but when you click on it it says
"You do not have access to this area. Contact your site administrator to obtain access.
" So I am looking for a way to give users access?

    Hi, Harry.

I believe there are not roles enabling access to regular users to your custom module.
Perform the Repair Roles and try again.

    Cheers
