Phone number format

Experts, do you have the code enabling to format the phone number?
I need a number in the following format +420123456789.
But someone enters only 123456789, someone 123 456 789, etc. Do you have the solution for this yet? Thanks!

There is a phone number formatting module on SugarForge that can be altered to fit your needs.

Or, if so inclined, you could learn to make a custom field type yourself. Below would be the place to start.

It isnt as it sits on SugarForge, plus it is going to replace any custom layouts you have for the editview in Leads, contacts and accounts. It could be made to be compatible given a little tweaking to the manifest file.
