I think your question belongs over in your VOIP systems forum. Sugar stores CRM data, it once was integrated with several VOIP systems (namely Asterisk and Trixbox) Sugar only stores the number. If you have trix issues see that site.

Thanks for your contribution but still the problem exist
when i tried the numbers in the PCs which is connected to the soft phone, i could make the calls. but when i tried with the normal phone, result is negative.
our entire office is linked by the network and we use PABX for our phone system. sugarCRM and PABX relies in asterisk.
any idea of what could be the solution?
