    Default PHP Time error in log?

    Hi

    I'm a newbie so be gentle!
    Also trying to get SugarCRM 6.2.1. working on a 1and1 server, and no I hav'nt got SMTP working yet.

    On checking the sugarlog file, i'm repeatedly get this error:

    Sat Jul 23 11:18:02 2011 [15648][-none-][FATAL] Configuration variable date.timezone is not set, guessed timezone Europe/Berlin. Please set date.timezone="Europe/Berlin" in php.ini!

    Can anybody tell me how to sort this out please.

    On 1&1 you do not have the posibility to edit the php.ini an add a line
    date.timezone = Europe/Berlin ? (without " !)

    If you do noat have access to the php.ini you can add this line perhaps to a .htacess file in sugarcrm root directory.

    Vielleicht gibt es ja bei 1&1 einen Hinweis wie man die Zeitzone setzen kann.

    If you use .htaccess you'll get a 500 error with 1and1.

    Instead create a php.ini file in the root directory with

    date.timezone = "Europe/London"

    Unhappy Re: PHP Time error in log?

    Hi I still have the same issue.

    I m on 1&1.

    I can configure outbound email with no problems, did a test and works.

    Setting "Bounce Handling Mailbox", I get two errors .

    Here are the settings :

    Mail account information :
    imap.gmail.com

    993

    user : mygmailaccount@gmail.com
    password :mypassword

    Bounce Handling Options:

    "From" Address: myemail@.com (email address at 1&1)

    Errors:

    First error :

    Tue Sep 6 11:05:49 2011 [3694][1][FATAL] Query Failed: INSERT INTO folders(id, name, folder_type, parent_folder, has_child, is_group, is_dynamic, dynamic_query, assign_to_id, created_by, modified_by, deleted) VALUES('66f34bcd-0039-2100-da1c-4e6644e50cbc', 'Maria', '', '', 0, 1, 0, '', '1', '1', '1', 0): MySQL error 2006: MySQL server has gone away

    Second error :

    Tue Sep 6 11:05:50 2011 [12889][-none-][FATAL] Configuration variable date.timezone is not set, guessed timezone America/Chicago. Please set date.timezone="America/Chicago" in php.ini!

    I created the ini.php file as described in the root directory of sugar and still get the same error.
    Any clue of what I m doing wrong ? I spend already all afteroon

    Thanks
