PHP_MSSQL.dll not loading

recently I have setup Windows 2003 / IIS / SQL 2000 & 2005..

I am getting the error 'PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'c:\PHP\extensions\php_mssql.dll' - The specified module could not be found.'

before Sugar installation I need to confirm can use PHP with SQL.. unfortunatly the module is not loading -

I have 2000.80.194.0 of ntwdblib.dll & checked the php.ini has correct references to extension directory etc..

currently working with latest release - php-5.2.6-Win32

has anyone encountered this before ?

Hi,
did you follow the instructions in the setup manual about installing Sugar with MSSQL?
When I had to setup Sugar CE 5.0.0a on IIS 6 with MS SQL Server 2005 Express and PHP 5.2.6 I followed that guide and it worked fine.

it's not so much the Sugar installation, as the PHP installation / extension.. PHP will run http://localhost/index.php fine - but there are no additional modules loaded. no point for me in installing Sugar until the MSSQL module loads :/

I see...
Attached is the php.ini (php-isapi.ini) I used on MS IIS6, where Sugar was working fine with MSSQL.
It's all I can do.

thankyou muchly.. i appreciate it..

i've gotten it going now using the full package/sql express/apache.. will keep this file as reference for if we expand to full SQL & IIS
