Pipeline total not correct

When I compare the pipeline total with the sum of all sales stages they don't match. For example Pipeline total is $500,000 where Contract, Completed and Closed are respectively $85,000, $30,000 and $325,000. The Pipeline total is more than the sum of the three stages. Anyone an idea?

We use version 5.0.0a (Build 3120)
