how can i know when any of my crms users modify an account or an activity.. is there an alert or something that says that xxxx modifyied this activity or this acoount or something..

there is a audit facility in sugar which show u changed made by other user..

To check this in detailview on top there is a "View Change Log".
to give field in audit just give this
'audited' => true

in definition file...

hi,
if you are using professional or enterprise version then you can set workflow also.
then if anything change in module it sends you the Email also.
