Point me to information for configuring knowledgebase

I need some information to point my developer for our site to assist in configuring the knowledgebase view on our website.

Is this information available online? Where would I find this?

To be more specific .. this would be surgarcrm professional. We are currently evaluating this software to set up the knowledgebase and crm for selfhelp web support on our site.

So .. in essence, my developer is looking for some additional technical information dealing with configuring the knowledgebase external site.

So ... Anyone?

We are evaluating SugarCRM Professional (on demand) software with a set up for Web Self-Help .. using the crm as a open ticket system as an escalation when the customer is unable to find their answer in the knowledgebase.

Our developer is requesting information which will help him understand how/what needs to be done to customize the external look of the knowledgebase .. so it has the look and feel of our website. So, just some quick information is needed! If this is hosted by SugarCRM, is there a masked URL?? Can the look and feel of the knowledgebase be adjusted to the look and feel of our external website?? Is there a thread or link someone can provide that will provide this information?

I've tried to download the manual with hopes of some information only to have a .pdf that is empty. http://www.sugarcrm.com/network/help...rGuide_5.0.pdf

I'm not having an easy time getting information on this software. It looks good from the backend .. but I'm a bit worried about running into snags and not getting answers.
