Pop Ups in workflow

Is it possible to use workflow to open a popup window and give a message rather than send an email, or invite someone?

We want members of the sales team to receive a popup reminding them to update their sales forecasts when they amend a record.

i m using 5.0.0d , in it i m facing a popup problem.
i can select any data from showing popup but when i do search then it didn't work.
