is this possible at all/

i have a custom module with 3 fields

pshyc total
aboema total
spinal total

these totals are from a spreadsheet in excell wheer the user maus go and choose which totals are for the member
can a popup be created - select button - that either looks at the spreadsheet - or maybee omport the spreadsheet in to myssql and the look at that info. and if the user chooses a cel, that cell popolates the edit view in sugar?
