Popup filter criteria for custom module

Hi,
I have a few custom modules (Sugar CE 6.1.3) and want to
change the popup for a related field.

What I need to do is filter the results of the popup
based upon a certain field in the editView.

Both modules are created with module builder.

Where should I make changes in code ?
