After correcting I bug that prevented my user from seeing certain contacts (see my previous thread) I found another bug.

If I go into a contact and I want to associate that contact with anything (Leads, opportunities, etc.) by clicking on the dashlet "select" button, the associated popup does not allow sorting. Yet any other search (or list) allows sorting without any problem.

I cannot find any information in the sugarcrm.log that would explain why this is happening. (even at debug level) It simply seams to be discarding the request and sorting everything by name...

Sadly I cannot reproduce this bug on a fresh install, so I get the feeling this is related to either our custom modules or the hosting provider's mysql/php version.

Any suggestion on where to look next would be welcome.
